Banner Advertising
We provide space for banner advertising at the top of every page on Caithness.Org and all of our web sites. Our system carefully rotates the display of each clients ads to ensure an even distribution of adverts throughout the sites. Currently our banner adverts are displayed, on average, 2000 times per day.
Banner adverts are usually in the following format:
- 60 pixels high x 468 pixels wide.
- A file in gif or jpeg format.
- Around 10-20 kilobytes in file size.
- Linked to web location of choice (i.e. Advertiser's Web Site).
- Free of any adult or offensive content.

Section Sponsorship
We have preset sections in each of our Indexes, they consist of the main sections into which categories are sorted. This allows you to advertise in the section most suited to your organisation, displaying your advert to people browsing in that section's listings.
In each category there are indexes for sub-categories, your advert will appear at the top of each of these pages in a fixed position.
We will also give you 2 banner slots in our standard rotation system, free of charge.
As with the rest of our banner advertising, each sections is available to be sponsored for a period of 1 year.
Featured Articles
Whilst we will always endeavour to add any press releases to our site free of charge. We can also offer enhanced positioning for any article for any length of time up to 1 month. Standard press release entries are limited to 1 photograph where featured articles may have up to 12. Also each featured article is fixed at the top of our new index page and then randomly positioned on each of our news archive pages.

Property Advertising
On both the Caithness and the Sutherland Business Indexes we offer free advertising for properties in the area. Both private and professional sales/rents are accepted. Simply fill in the details on the web site and we'll add your advert to our ever growing listings.
